Sells Kroll to Altegrity for $1.13 billion in cash.
Michael Cherkasky, former CEO of Marsh & McLennan and
Kroll, is CEO of Altegrity. Marsh bought Kroll in 2004 for $1.9
billion and had already sold off parts of the firm. Marsh had
already taken a write-down of $855 million on Kroll as well.
